The NEMA 04 TITAN is constructed out of 14-gauge welded steel with 12-gauge doors, and stands at 60” high by 28” wide by 27” deep. The enclosure finish is a polyester powder paint and is available in blue, gray, or any custom RAL color (additional charge). The viewing window (hinged at the bottom) folds down and accepts up to a 24-inch monitor (tempered safety glass or polycarbonate viewing windows are available). An adjustable monitor shelf is standard for quick monitor installation. The shelf can also be tilted up (at a 90-degree angle) to install a monitor with the included VESA mounting holes. The doors feature quarter turn, knob-style compression latches and dual durometer EPDM gasket for additional protection from harsh elements. All doors have lift-off hinges for effortless removal. The rear door measures 51” high and is ideal for accessing the back of electronics stored in the enclosure.

A work surface provides room for documents, folders, and writing utensils. A retractable keyboard drawer, below the work surface, is the perfect place to store and protect a keyboard, mouse, or hula point. When fully extended, the front of the drawer can easily fold down to provide an ergonomic wrist rest. The drawer measures 22.7” wide x 9” deep.

The bottom portion of the IceStation TITAN offers space to house a computer, printer, UPS, power supply, and additional vital electronics. The enclosure has adjustable shelf, attached to uni-strut, for easy placement of electronics, or sliding shelf brackets can be added to the shelf to slide out a printer or computer. Heavy-duty, swivel casters are a standard feature. When the enclosure is in its desired location, the 2 front casters lock into place. Bolt down legs or sanitary, stainless steel legs are also available as an add-on accessory.

The NEMA 04 TITAN can be customized with various accessories including rack mount rails, a sealed cable entry gland, 6 outlet power strip, industrial keyboards, industrial mouse, or various thermal management options, such as a heat exchanger, air conditioners, or an outdoor filtered fan system with thermostat and filters.

Within an enclosure, the ability to direct light towards vital electronics helps improve maintenance efficiency. Distributing light throughout a cabinet is advantageous for accessing electronics or performing intricate tasks. The good news: an enclosure light is generally very easy to install. A few of the installation options include: a magnet, a screw (or 2) for din rail or rack channel, or a clip mount.

Popular choices for computer enclosure lighting include a simple on/off switch, a plug, or a motion sensor that can be mounted on the inside of the computer enclosure. The motion sensor eliminates the need to reach into the enclosure to turn on the switch, thus saving time, energy, and money.

LED lighting offers energy saving technology (low wattage) and has a longer life than previous lighting options (up to 60,000 hours vs. only 5,000 hours). The additional cost for LED lighting will pay for itself in no time!

Mt. Pleasant, PA (January 27, 2021) – Innovating in the field of industrial enclosures since 1985, ITSENCLOSURES announces a newly designed IceStation enclosure: the PB56-12 – NEMA 12 freestanding Printer Enclosure.

The printer enclosure is constructed to shield laser-jet printers or label barcode printers on harsh and dirty factory floors. The PB56-12 enclosure is fabricated out of 12-gauge painted steel and measures 56” high by 26” wide by 26” deep. The maximum printer dimensions for the PB56-12 are 14″ high x 20″ wide x 23″ deep in the top of the enclosure and 25″ high (19.5” if utilizing a filtered fan system) x 20″ wide x 23″ deep in the bottom of the enclosure. The bottom portion can also be used as storage for labels, paper, ink, or other necessary printer materials.

The IceStation enclosure has lockable lift and turn compression latches on the front and rear steel doors (12-gauge) for security and protection from harsh elements. The top door comes standard with a hinged printer door – which maintains a tight seal via gasket and forceful industrial magnets – to retrieve labels or documents. A second hinged printer door can be added to the bottom door for an additional charge.

The top interior of the enclosure features an adjustable 22” extended sliding shelf, which provides access to the printer to switch out labels, paper, ink, or other media. The sliding shelf can be adjusted vertically and will support printers weighing up to 100 pounds.

The PB56-12 enables an end user to have one or two printers in a freestanding enclosure and the overall height makes it easy to retrieve printed materials. The freestanding enclosure has a gasketed, tool free split panel for dust tight cable entry and industrial grade casters, which lock in the front and swivel in the rear. If the enclosure is required to be bolted to the floor, a set of 4.5” high bolt-down legs can replace the castors. Lift eyes, on the top of the enclosure, can also be used to transport the enclosure into place.

Numerous thermal management options are available for the PB56 printer enclosure. The most popular cooling device is the filtered fan system, which creates positive pressure on the inside of the enclosure and prevents dirt or dust entry. For cooler environments, a thermostatically controlled heater can be installed to maintain ideal operating temperatures.
